Trapped Inside The Matrix of the Web Part I - How the Web Was Manufactured

This poem is a stem from my many years of being digitally oppressed, by the lack of having such digital knowledge of hardware, software, programming, web design, computer engineering, the web, technical awareness, and overall confidence, to learn about what's been driving these god forsaken machines, till this very day.

It has become, my first attempt at making all things web related, appear as a sort of cool illustrated art form through poetry, and my creative collection of technical rhyme schemes to share with the world.

I would like to thank all the founding founders of this digital world for making this day, and actual poem come to life, because without the engineers, the scientists, the graphics arts specialist or graphic designers, media, web news, web critics, the web masters, web analyst, blog writers, the curious minded souls who've all decided to make a purchase, of a single version of any computerized engineered product (All of us web surfers), none of this would ever be possible.

I pay homage to those who have gone before me, into this telepathic jungle of sorts, and may have gotten trapped in its midst till this day, then learned to re-insert their very own, worldly resourcefulness, knowledge, wisdom, or ideas into it daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.

There's much to learn from here, by lighting the pathway to and from all sources.

This is one epic poem that even technology can't attempt to match, welcome all web prisoners to the machine world revealed in poetic form, and the pathway out to freedom or NEO. Belief in oneness! Abnormal, an Anomaly

The World of Ideas is yours, only if you believe in you

Free Your Mind!

When I first seen it

I couldn't believe it

My eyes were captivated

clutching sites to see

Suction cupped to the screen

By my lenses & cornea

Its driven me closer

Magnetically

to that all time over exposure limit

I suddenly felt screen captured

Many original prisons were erected

Couldn't stand up to the tensile stress

of its weakly founded digital webs

Victory was Won

by those who attempted

those who attracted

the most binary inmates

Linear referenced link zoo's

titling the keywords of dreamers

anxiously awaiting freedom

to escape yet another trap

For the helpless victim

till eyes wide shut

were digitally sewn wide open

"Webcrawler"

It was the first of many prisons

to be spun out

Digitally awaiting its prey,

some lonely victim

maybe a kid

maybe even a scientist to be

pondering on that day to come

Praying to his own conscience

For all the answers

To simply know more

Searching questioning

Questing on these electromotive pulses 1's & 0's

A digital High

A digital low

Hoping to discover ways

to allow his very own message

to get across

Such semi-conductive material

Electrolytic cells scientist proclaim

yet another Jail

for lock up aka Storage

Like a Capacitors life span

to also get trapped inside itself

& imprisoned behind virtual bars

"Netscape Navigator"

These webs got crawled for years

but navigation was inevitable

Anxiously surprised was many inmates

to see a new contender in our new telepathic Jail

We seemed to now escape the one known as

the Channel changer 'TV'

We met the ultimate jail breaker of sorts it seemed

navigation became fluid

So the new title stuck

giving rise to term

"Web Navigation"

escaping from multiple traps

was now game

yet to fall into another

inside another again

"Yahoo"

Surfing was fun at the beach

until we met a new game player by the name of Yahoo

many people steered right

turned their mouses left

but keep seeing ads

pop ups and web controllers

Acting rulers of their new courtship

Hard Drives crashed

burned & Failed

Battles were fought

against the virtual Trojans

Many were won

but viruses keep coming

giving rise to the Phoenix

known as the "Antivirus Program"

Norton a soldier

of lost fortunes

aka the Semantec Trojan acceptor

Loaded with false Militant reserves

Faulty repair characteristics

Had tons of warnings to purchase it

or lose all grips to reality

We digitally owned on a PC

What a defender

of digital nations built

Prison camp

for your laptop or desktop

Beholder

of the false threat detection agency

Promising Computerized Justice

without true allegiance

We needed to be saved

Our pockets & commissary

were running dry
