Authors of Originality

  • To me being original is the only way to do such a thing, by truly grasping full grips of your true essence in what you feel, love, enjoy, and choose to share with others.

  • This makes all the difference here at hubpages, and I've grown to understand such themes of providing insightful feedback, thus the very reason for the accolades that encourage such a usefulness to others.
  • Especially those of us who've all devoted vast amounts of time & energy into our creative writings, being real is important to us all.

Please be real, when commenting, Integrity is the true strength of the hubpages community & sharing the other

It is of grave importance that people begin to realize that hubpages is a highly evolved system of numbers (algorithm), but its also intensively advanced at detecting in-genuine activity.

Commenting is what this hub is going to cover in great detail, because many people seem to think that by leaving a brief short comment that they going to game the system here.

Simply stated hubpages detects everything we do here, and this is much reason for each and every one of us hub authors to behave in a much more accountable and genuine manner overall, including the leaving if insightful comments.

Rules of the good game

Playing by the rules is definitely going to get a hub author very far in the hubpages community, for starters, if you share something and your intention is not true, people aren't dumb here. There's many geniuses and amazing authors here on hubpages, and they will quickly detect such poor leveled activity via their comment walls, thus leading to your lower ratings and scoring in this system here, also reason for all the flagging tools, as well as indicators of potential hub violations on your hub account below your hub statistics, in the Q&A areas, and many other locations.

If you are in-genuine whether it be while writing a hub, purposely making crappy response submissions, or what have you on hubpages, the system will instantly detect such wrongful activity. This will also count against your hubscore, if not land your account into no man's land or also known as observation and humans will begin to move on in and heavily monitor your activity here shortly after.

Many people have been banned from the hubpages system due to trying to cheat the system in many ways, they all had first thought wouldn't be detected or simply by ignoring the reading of terms of service, all of us are responsible to do whether we choose to publish a hub or not.

Conclusion

So you must be very careful as to read all the rules & regulations that apply. Leaving insightful messages helps the community to become much more effective with communications, gains exposure to you, simply by directly telling others that may be interested in you, who you really are via your words being expressed.

This powerful form of interaction & effective communications on hubpages, also helps to maintain the full integrity of a safer more reliable system, in which the hubpages community should keep solidified and we as their author deserve for our hard working efforts.

I think it is important to maintain the true integrity of such a system, because it is designed to favor the works of those who work the hardest, the smartest, and whom truly deserve to be praised by such an awesomely groomed community as hubpages is.

If the web didn't have so many poorly active users, whom many of them still seem to be using faulty judgement or poor decision making by means of spamming both open & closed networks, having malicious schemes to get rich quick, and committing other ever evasive stunts to cheat the system in place, copy right infringement etc... Then maybe such harsh detection systems that hubpages has put here into action, wouldn't be needed, but that's like imagining our world without evil, its just as necessary as good is, I guess.

Look up the hubpages terms of service and privacy policy

Please think before you publish or submit any posts, Q&A, or anything being done on hubpages, because it affects not only you but the entire community here & we're all in this together.

Yes indeed Leaderofmany, I wrote this because some people just wanna get by, without giving true credit, and it pains me to say that it actually hurts are real authors of true authenticity most.

Thanks for paying me a visit and for truly being real by providing insightful feedback. I'll do the same for you indeed. "Paying it forward works wonder"

I think that being real is almost the same as finding your voice. Your true voice and using it in your writing does demonstrate who you are. Being open and truthful is critical as well.

Thanks for sharing you hub. When my sister (tlpoague) started out she told me that you could make money off it, but I have not posted an actual hub since I started and forgot you could make money. I like hub pages because there are a lot of good storied and hints and tips that many people can use. So once again thank you for sharing.

I'm feeling the love here and appreciate everyone's truthful insights, thanks @ homesteadbound, and thanks @ phankinson.

Being insightful, being honest, and truly sincere is not hard to do, but for those who aren't genuine it is I guess.

I'm just glad that some people are worth the time to share with on here, and hubpages is the best place to make these truthful efforts on, and the best one that I've found thus far on the web.

I really appreciate this hub Mike. When I comment, I try to make sure that I always say something meaningful. Even when I am returning comments on my hubs too. I give a piece of myself letting the writer/reader know that I care, that I appreciate them and all they have to say. Honestly, it does bother me when others do not give the same respect in return. But I just stay true to myself. Thank you for this thought provoking topic.

Thanks Iamaudraleigh, for taking the time to give my hub a chance here, sorry for rigid comment earlier there in the Facebook group, but it was a bitching moment I guess, and I had to get out my frustration in that posted thread there.

I'll chat with you soon, I'm also glad you liked it though, I'm thinking of changing this hub a bit to expand on it some, revise it for sure and to elaborate more clearly about things.

@Gypsy Rose Lee, Insightful commenting always stands out to me, and I love it when a persons honesty hits the screen here, because it tells me I did something right, or even potentially something wrong with my writing.

The interaction on hubpages overall is worth much more reward, then the monetary part for me persay, and so I work harder and harder to hopefully draw out a much better response from the community here, which in return helps everyone in contact with whatever I can offer up for assistance as well in my hub writing.

I'm sure many other authors here on hubpages do the same, and it feels great to get some awesome feed back like this, and in this manner many of us dedicated hubbers are consistently into doing.

Thanks for the insight here, for reading and sharing your thoughts, and I'm glad you are a here to help the community as well.

Nice work, Mike and well put. I've always tried to take time and care when reading and commenting on a hub and nothing irritates me than getting a meaningless comment clearly designed to show hubtivity and entice me over to their hub. it doesn't work. Don't do it. Nice work, my friend. UP and shared.

A great message my friend and I completely agree! Sometimes I wonder if the person commenting even bothered to read my hub. My dog could have a more meaningful comment. :)

Great job as always and I really appreciate you mentioning this in a hub.

I think I am as guilty as the rest--I often leave short comments--but often with poetry, a short comment is enough--I do not feel it right to take apart a person's work, only to state my reaction--which with poetry can be as simple as "lovely, lovely piece--" Best to you and thank you for making me think--

Hey there @PDXKaraokeGuy, yes oh yes me and you definitely have come to understand such things, as we've been sharing insightful comments towards one another back and fourth ever since a I joined hubpages, and met your words, and you met mine.

I'm happy that we met here, and that you like my hub I wrote, it was an honest attempt to help folks out a bit, in the hubpages community here, especially the newbies to come as we all once were at one time.

@billybuc, we both know that being insightful counts a great deal in a writers community, as we both do often here on hubpages. Helping other hubbers get noticed is one of our specialties here as well, and without insightful comments, well how would such a thing ever have a true impact on the hubpages community as a whole.

You are a person who truly cares for the likes of others Bill, and this is why I believe you have no choice but to speak your true mind, and leave awesome comments as you do almost every single time, wow is all I can say about your hubpages performance, which is both sensational & outstanding as well. Thanks man!

@AudreyHowitt , it really is to each ones own, when it comes to how they are to leave comments. I have left one sentence or on line comments as well in the past, but I'm not really addressing that of poetry actually.

This hub really pertains to the hubs that are written in great depth and especially those that have a huge impact on the hubpages community, not to say that all other hubs aren't as equally important, but there are many hubs that deserve a far better response.

Now if a hub isn't up to standard to my liking, its a huge injustice to the owner of such a hub to not at least let them know what you truly think in a nice way or leave them a comment in their inbox, if you've actually read it in its entirety. I read hubs that interest me most, and so I initially scan for overall appearance, quality, and style of writing.

Then I do a bit of skimming to see if its worth my times investment, and if so I dig in deep. This is where the whole insightful awareness begins for me, I look for meaning, for logic, for knowledge base, and for style, and then I render the best comment I can muster up, and many times I create entire hubs about folks who have gone above and beyond the call of duty here on hubpages as an author of digital works.

To me I owe it to the writer of such a powerfully expressed hub, and I feel I must do my part for them, so that the community can see from a differing perspective, and point of view, by a fan and fellow hubber.

Now don't get me wrong, I have read some poets by a large number of hubber here, that have been mind blowing. So I was compelled to leave them the most sincere and in-depth comment I could conjure up, because it moved me mentally and also spiritually for a few of them.

CloudExplorer Hub Author 38 hours ago

@Billybuc, no problem man you deserve much more then a good comment, but for now that's all I can offer.

@AudreyHowitt, sorry for that typo there above, I meant Poems and not "Poets", thanks for sharing with me here your true thoughts, and in such an insightful manner, it definitely is appreciated, and that goes to everyone who chose to make a trip to my corner of hubpages, an who've selflessly shared their thoughts & took the time to read.

I wrote a similar hub about this subject a while back and will place a link on it to your hub. You have brought out excellent points on commenting and I sure hope everyone get a chance to read them. To help out, I will share your hub with all the "big guys" as well as on my blogs and more. A big vote uP!

@vocalcoach, Thank you for reading and for the cool vote, I'm glad you agree with my hub here and that is so nice of you to create a back link for me on your hub.

I'll do the same for yours too, I went to your profile and seen it last night, and so I will repay the favor of reading it as well later on today. See you there soon.

The most appealing thing about Hubpages to me is the fact that the community is not only very interactive but the comments, except for an odd one, are so healthy refreshing and insightful. As writers we are always looking for constructive feedback and comments to improve our work. And when such comments are coming, it goads us on to do even better.

I fully agree with your ideas and appreciate you decided to write on such an important aspect.

Thanks and voted all the way up and across. This message needs to be SHARED too.
